Delhi-Dehradun Expressway Now Open: Travel Time, Toll-Free Details, And More

Great news for travelers! The Delhi-Dehradun Expressway has reached a major milestone with the opening of a 3.5 km stretch. This is part of a bigger 31.6 km project that will significantly cut down travel time between the two cities.

A High-Speed Highway For A Faster Journey

The entire expressway spans 212 km and is a six-lane, access-controlled road designed to make travel smoother. Built at a cost of ₹12,000 crore, it connects Delhi to Dehradun through key locations like Shastri Park, Khajuri Khas, Baghpat, Shamli, and Saharanpur before reaching Uttarakhand.

A Toll-Free Start For A Smooth Ride

The first 18 km, from Akshardham Temple to Loni, is completely toll-free. This means commuters can enjoy a seamless drive without paying any tolls, making the journey even more convenient.

A Key 3.5 km Stretch Is Now Open

A crucial 3.5 km section from Daat Kali to Asharodi is now fully operational. Earlier, only three lanes were open, but now all six lanes are ready, ensuring a faster and more comfortable journey.
