Tucked inside the majestic Rashtrapati Bhavan, this stunning garden is a paradise for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts. Visiting Hours & Important Dates


- Open Days: Tuesday to Sunday (Closed on Mondays for maintenance)  

- Timings: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM  

- Special Closures:

  - February 20-21 (due to the Visitors' Conference at Rashtrapati Bhavan)  

  - March 14 (on the occasion of Holi)

Amrit Udyan ensures everyone gets a chance to enjoy its beauty. Here are the exclusive days for different groups:  


- March 26: Differently-abled visitors  

- March 27: Defence, paramilitary, and police personnel  

- March 28: Women & Tribal Women Self-Help Groups (SHGs)  

- March 29: Senior citizens  


Entry Details – Free For All!


Yes, you read that right! Entry to Amrit Udyan is completely free. But since it’s one of the most popular attractions in Delhi, it's best to book in advance, especially for weekends and special days.  


How To Book Tickets Online

  

1. Go to the official website – [visit.rashtrapatibhavan.gov.in](https://visit.rashtrapatibhavan.gov.in).  

2. Select “Mughal Garden Visit (Udyanotsav)”.  

3. Fill in your details (Name, Date of Visit, etc.).  

4. Upload a valid photo ID.  

5. Confirm and download your digital entry pass.  


If you prefer spontaneity, walk-in entry is also allowed, but you may have to wait in line.  


How To Reach Amrit Udyan  


If you're taking the Delhi Metro, the nearest stations are:  


- Central Secretariat Metro Station (2 km away)  

- Shivaji Stadium Metro Station (2 km away)  


A free shuttle service runs from Gate No. 4 of Central Secretariat Metro Station to the garden entrance between 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM daily.

- Entry is through Gate No. 35 on North Avenue Road.  

-Online bookings require a mobile number (one mobile number can book for up to 30 visitors).  

- Walk-in visitors need to register at the Information Center or Self-Service Kiosks.  

- Allowed: Mobile phones  

- Not Allowed: Cameras, food, backpacks, tobacco products  


Special Event – Vividhta Ka Amrit Mahotsav (March 6-9) 


This year, Amrit Udyan is even more special! From March 6 to 9, Vividhta Ka Amrit Mahotsav will bring the vibrant culture of South India to life. Expect dance performances, art displays, and exhibitions that showcase the region’s rich heritage.
