Mosher himself was taken aback by the bizarre occurrence. "A dog climbed all the way up the Great Pyramid of Giza!", Mosher posted on his Instagram account, where his video of the dog has achieved incredible 25 million views.

Mosher revised his statement and clarified that the canine had rather scaled the Pyramid of Khafre, which stands approximately 8 feet shorter than the Great Pyramid but still rises to a height of 448 feet.

But what happened to the dog?

While over 250 million views had been recorded on the clip, and all viewers were fascinated, animal enthusiasts, however, were worried about what happened to the dog. They were not clear whether the dog had been stranded at the peak of the Egyptian pyramid or willingly jumped off the structure and were concerned about where he would go from there.

The next day, Mosher launched a mission to rescue the lost dog. He also stated that the dog was not alone and was one of the many dogs living on the outskirts of the pyramids. Mosher also practiced paragliding over the pyramids in an attempt to locate the dog but was unsuccessful.

Nevertheless, in a somewhat dramatic twist, Mosher informed his followers the next day that there were more pleasant developments – the dog had come down the pyramid by itself.

“The famous dog of the Great Pyramids was finally seen coming back down after his morning climb by @retreatours,” he wrote on Instagram one day ago.

This time however he had a video to accompany the statement and therefore share the proof with one of the clips showing the dog scaling the stone pyramid rather effortlessly in apparent exhibit of its agility.

Finally, those concerned about the dog were pleased when they saw the happy animal playing again with its friends.
