What iIs FTI-TTP? 

 

This program, first launched in June 2024 at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport, is designed to make immigration faster and smoother for pre-verified travelers. Instead of waiting in long queues, approved travellers can use automated e-gates that scan their biometric details, allowing them to clear immigration in seconds!  

Now, the program is available at Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Cochin, and Ahmedabad airports. And guess what? The plan is to roll it out across 21 major airports soon!  

Who Can Apply?

 

If you’re an Indian citizen or hold an Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI) card, you can enroll for free and enjoy a hassle-free immigration experience.  

How To Register? (It’s Super Easy!)

 

Follow these simple steps to become a Trusted Traveller:  

✅ Step 1: Fill out an online registration form on the official portal: [https://ftittp.mha.gov.in](https://ftittp.mha.gov.in). Upload the required documents like your passport, OCI card, photo, and address proof.  

✅ Step 2: Wait for a confirmation email (usually arrives in a few days). Once approved, you can move on to the next step.  

✅ Step 3: Register your biometric data at a Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO). These offices are available in major cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Amritsar, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad. Or, if you're at an international airport, you can do it there too!  

✅ Step 4: Once your biometric data is recorded, you’ll receive an email confirmation in a few days.  

✅ Step 5: That’s it! You’re now registered for FTI-TTP. The next time you travel, simply scan your boarding pass at the e-gate, complete biometric authentication, and walk through. No more long immigration lines!
