The letter was shared on Reddit with the title, "Beauty of Mumbai from a Delhi guy's POV." The writer started with, "I don't know where to begin. I promise I will keep this short." He shared how he had always wanted to visit Mumbai since his school days when he played Counter-Strike 1.6 with friends from the city. Finally, in October last year, his dream came true!

A Short Trip, A Lifetime Of Memories

His visit to Mumbai was short—just two days—for an Alan Walker concert. But those two days were enough to make him fall in love with the city! He wrote, "I'm in love with this city, the people, the culture—everything! I have to visit again because two days just weren’t enough."

Luckily, he had a close friend in Mumbai who made sure he saw all the best spots. And then came another golden opportunity—Coldplay’s concert! This time, he planned a longer trip, including a weekend and Monday.

He wrote about his love for Mumbai’s dive bars, saying, "I visited The Yacht, Janata Bar, Gokul, Ghetto, etc., and oh, the food! I explored so many Irani cafés and ate delicious street food."

The Heartfelt Goodbye

Returning to Delhi wasn’t easy. The writer admitted he was experiencing "post-Mumbai depression." He shared, "And now, here I am back in Delhi, stuck in the same routine. I just want to say that Mumbai, you have my heart! I wanted to write so much more, but I’m still coping with the trip. I hope to visit again soon!"

The Internet Reacts

Many people connected with his feelings. One person commented, "Mumbai lovers are always welcome. God bless you."

Another shared, "I lived in Mumbai for over two years and now I'm in Delhi. But I still love Mumbai more!"

Someone else simply wrote, "Mumbai is love."
