For this amazing couple, riding motorcycles isn’t just a hobby—it’s a way of life. Both 56 years old, they’ve spent decades exploring the world on two wheels, and every journey has only made their bond stronger. Over time, their passion for motorcycling has grown into something truly special.

Today, they travel the globe on two impressive bikes—a Honda Gold Wing GL1800 and a BMW R 1250 GS Adventure. Every year, they make it a point to take at least one big trip, often joined by their close-knit biking community. When asked about her favorite destination, Noraliza’s answer is simple: Thailand. She loves the place, and the couple often heads there with their biker friends.

Taha couldn’t agree more. He says Thailand is perfect for bikers because of its smooth roads, safe conditions, delicious food, and affordable accommodations. No wonder it’s a top choice for their adventures!

Their motorcycle journeys have taken them to many incredible places, including countries in ASEAN, India, and Pakistan. Some of their most unforgettable memories come from these trips. For instance, they once traveled through the Himalayas from Delhi to Leh, crossing Khardung La, the world’s highest motorable pass. Another thrilling experience was the Pakistan Autumn Ride, where they explored the Pakistan-China border. They’ve even completed a 14-day Borneo Ride from Kuching to Kota Kinabalu.

Taha has also joined organized rides, like a 21-day event from Medan to Bali, promoting Visit Malaysia Year. Closer to home, he and his friends organize independent charity rides across Malaysia and Thailand.

With their daughters now managing the family business, which supplies chicken and frozen meat, Taha and Noraliza have more time to chase their travel dreams. They’re planning a Balkan ride in April and a hiking trip to Nepal’s Annapurna Base Camp in October. Noraliza dreams of riding through Africa someday, while Taha hopes to ride to Makkah for Umrah.

Of course, preparation is everything for their adventures. Taha takes care of the motorcycles, while Noraliza handles the packing and planning. They always pack smart, bringing functional items like clothes, a small stove, and emergency food supplies. Safety is a top priority too—they never hit the road without full riding gear.

For new riders, Taha shares some valuable advice: “Start small, build your confidence, and be patient. Riding isn’t something you do on a whim.” Wise words from someone with a lifetime of experience!

As the couple gears up for their year-end ride to Thailand, they hope their daughters will one day embrace the adventurous spirit that has defined their lives.

Isn’t their story just incredible? It’s a beautiful reminder that life is one big adventure, especially when you have the right partner by your side.
