Just after Donald Trump was re-elected to the American Presidency, businessman Elon Musk who will now be a co-leader at the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) alongside Vivek Ramaswamy, claimed that the ambitious “Earth-to-Earth” space tourism by SpaceX would be fully executed in no time.

Starship, the rocket of SpaceX, is the vehicle that was projected almost ten years ago and has been purported to be the most powerful in the world, would facilitate intercontinental travel at speeds that have not been experienced before.

According to the reports from the Daily Mail, the Starship can carry passengers of about 1,000 in a single flight without deep space travel but rather at an orbit parallel to the earth. Traveling times are mind boggling, with prepared schedules indicating that a journey from Los Angeles to Toronto would take 24 minutes, from London to New York 29 minutes, from Delhi to San Francisco 30 minutes, and from New York to Shanghai 39 minutes.

The concept has recently gained momentum on social media, with user @ajtourville sharing a promotional video of the project on X (formerly Twitter).

A post hinted that a second Trump administration could work, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) might endorse this plan.

Elon Musk reacted to this post and wrote, "This is now possible."

As public fascination increases, there is a likelihood that the travel concept that SpaceX presents will alter the way the world connects, whereby it will become possible to move across entire continents within a few minutes.
