On December 16th, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) captured some amazing pictures using their Cartosat satellite. NRSC, a dedicated part of ISRO, then processed these images. What's special about Cartosat? It's a powerful satellite that can even take 3D pictures from space!

“The imagery sent by satellite will be useful for cartographic applications, urban and rural applications, coastal land use and regulation, utility management like road network monitoring, water distribution, creation of land use maps, change detection to bring out geographical and manmade features and various other Land Information System (LIS) as well as Geographical Information System (GIS) applications," the website of the ISRO said.

The release of the image comes at a significant time, just days before the highly anticipated grand consecration ceremony of the Ram Mandir. This celestial peek has further fueled the devotional fervour surrounding the event and has been widely welcomed by devotees across India.

"Seeing our beloved Ram Mandir from space fills us with immense pride and joy," said Acharya Ramchandra Das, a prominent religious figure in Ayodhya. "This image is a testament to the dedication and skill of our engineers and a symbol of India's technological prowess."

The image has also garnered widespread attention among the scientific community. Experts have lauded ISRO's advancements in satellite technology, highlighting the clarity and precision of the captured details.

"This image is a remarkable feat of engineering and demonstrates India's growing capabilities in space exploration," said Dr. Nilambari Mishra, a renowned astrophysicist. "The intricate architectural features of the Ram Mandir are captured with stunning accuracy, making this image a valuable addition to our understanding of both cultural and technological advancements."

The release of the satellite image is expected to further boost tourism to Ayodhya, attracting pilgrims and visitors eager to witness the Ram Mandir's grandeur firsthand. Social media platforms have been flooded with reactions, with users sharing the image and expressing their awe and excitement.
