Greece to Hike Acropolis Entry Fee by 50% in 2025, Aligning with European Average

A visit to the iconic Acropolis is set to become pricier in 2025,  with Greece planning a significant 50% increase in entry fees. They're trying to make ticket prices for the Acropolis more in line with what other places in Europe charge. This will also bring in more money to take care of the Acropolis.

Currently,  a standard ticket to the Acropolis costs €20. Starting April 1st,  2025,  visitors will be shelling out €30 for the privilege of exploring this UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is the first time in over 10 years that they're raising the price to visit the Acropolis.
