Abu Dhabi Greets First Cruise Ship to Kick Off 2023-2024 Season

Abu Dhabi welcomed the first cruise liner of the 2023-2024 cruise season on Tuesday, November 1st,  with the arrival of the Crystal Symphony at Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal in Zayed Port.

The upcoming cruise season promises to be one of the busiest yet,  with Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal slated for 126 calls,  starting on November 1st. Additionally,  Sir Bani Yas Cruise Beach is set to host 63 calls,  having welcomed the first on October 31st. Notably, nine of these calls will be maiden voyages, signaling ships making their inaugural visit to Abu Dhabi.

Abu Dhabi's tourism industry reaches a new milestone with the arrival of the Crystal Symphony,  as the city continues to rise as a top global cruise destination. The 2023-2024 cruise season is expected to bring over 700,000 visitors to Abu Dhabi,  generating millions of dollars in economic activity.
