Haryana's Tourism Takes Flight: Hot Air Balloon Safaris and Jungle Safari Parks on the Horizon

In the heart of Haryana,  nestled amidst the verdant foothills of the mighty Himalayas,  a new chapter in adventure tourism is unfolding. As the sun casts its golden hues over the ancient town of Pinjore,  a hot air balloon gently lifts off the ground,  its vibrant hues contrasting against the serene backdrop of the Shivalik mountains. This exciting new attraction in Haryana is a big move towards making the state a top destination for adventure vacations!

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar,  a man of vision and unwavering commitment to transforming his state, inaugurated this groundbreaking initiative, recognizing the allure of adventure tourism and its potential to revitalize local communities. As the hot air balloon ascended,  carrying the Chief Minister and a select group of dignitaries,  a palpable sense of excitement filled the air.

"Haryana holds immense potential for adventure tourism," declared Khattar, his voice echoing across the valley. He wasn't just talking either,  he even went for a hot air balloon ride with the Assembly Speaker and the Tourism Minister to check it out for himself!

Excitedly sharing his experience after a hot air balloon ride in Pinjore,  Khattar,  at 69 years old, said,  "We do travel by airplanes and helicopters but this is a unique experience. Much depends on the wind direction when the hot air balloon is airborne. Those navigating it have to look for a clear area while landing. During the ride,  I also got to observe many wild animals. So,  I can say this experience was remarkable".

The hot air balloon safari,  priced at ₹13,000 per person per ride, offers a bird's-eye view of the breathtaking landscape,  showcasing the meandering rivers,  lush forests,  and charming villages that dot the countryside. As the balloon gracefully soars above the canopy of trees,  the world transforms into a tapestry of vibrant colors and textures,  an aerial panorama that leaves an indelible mark on the memory.

Khattar's passion for adventure tourism extends beyond Pinjore. At Hathnikund Barrage in Yamunanagar district,  he inaugurated a hub for water and adventure sports,  further diversifying Haryana's tourism offerings. The barrage,  a testament to human ingenuity and engineering prowess,  now serves as a stage for adrenaline-pumping activities like kayaking, rafting,  and paragliding.

The Haryana government does not stop here because the Chief Minister is building a massive jungle safari park,  spread over 10,000 acres,  right in the Aravalli mountains. It's set to be the biggest one in the world! This project in Gurugram and Nuh districts could be the world's biggest! It's not just about tourism,  they say it will also help protect the Aravalli environment.

Haryana's tourism landscape is undergoing a remarkable transformation,  with eco-tourism initiatives taking center stage. In the picturesque Morni hills,  trekking trails, mountain biking tracks,  and herbal garden visits offer a harmonious blend of adventure and environmental consciousness.

The state government is putting a lot of effort into tourism of Kalka-Kalesar region. The Haryana government is taking tourism seriously and has a big plan to make it a popular destination They've invested a huge amount of money,  ₹1,200 crore,  to improve the area and make the most of its hidden gems.
